Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Room Number: Room 8/9
Day: 3/12/2026

Multiple federal agencies – each with distinct mandates and regulatory processes – significantly affect water power projects.

Whether it’s an existing hydro project seeking a new license (relicense), a new installation of a marine energy technology in the water, or a new hydro facility being added to existing civil infrastructure, owners and developers and their consultants need to understand how to effectively navigate the federal regulatory ecosystem.

In this session, you’ll hear:
- Up-to-the-minute updates having to do with Section 401 of the Water Quality Act and the implementation of the Endangered Species Act

- Insights / advice from seasoned practitioners about how to effectively navigate the federal regulatory ecosystem, by coordinating with multiple agencies
