How to Make a ‘Splash’ on National Hydropower Day

National Hydropower Day (NHD) -- held annually each year on August 24th -- is our industry's greatest opportunity to secure positive earned media, engage key lawmakers, and share water power's benefits with our customers. Governors, Members of Congress, and federal agencies have all celebrated the holiday, making it a key date for any government affairs or public affairs professional working in water power.

In this session, NHA's Public Affairs Director, Copeland Tucker, will share an overview of the commemoration's impressive impact in years past and public affairs specialist Karrie Carnes will lead a discussion about how to make this year's celebration bigger and even better.
