Bryan Sojkowski

Mr. Sojkowski is a civil engineer. Prior to joining Gomez and Sullivan, he had fifteen years of fish passage experience working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). In that role Mr. Sojkowski provided professional consultation and expertise in planning, designing, construction, and operation of fish passage facilities for migratory and riverine fish throughout the Northeast and beyond. Ancillary to direct project work, he has experience with the development and implementation of fish passage trainings/workshops, coauthored scientific papers, remained involved in multiple research projects across the country, and helped develop the 2019 version of the USFWS Fish Passage Engineering Design Criteria manual as well as a lead author of an ongoing effort to complete an updated version. Mr. Sojkowski has provided technical assistance to a vast number of projects throughout the Northeast and has become very familiar with the technical intricacies of a suite of fishway types.
