Marcel is a Senior Water Resources Engineer at Inter-Fluve, with ten years of experience designing and engineering projects that enhance fish passage and aquatic habitat, while safeguarding and improving surrounding infrastructure. Since joining Inter-Fluve in 2020, he has led projects across the country ranging from dam removals and fish passage improvements to in‑river habitat enhancements and coastal marsh restoration. Marcel specializes in nature‑based design, applying geomorphic and ecological principles to create resilient, practical solutions for complex engineering challenges. Based in the Damariscotta, Maine office, he brings expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, engineering design, cost estimation, regulatory review, and project management to multidisciplinary teams working to restore rivers and coasts nationwide.
