James VanZwieten

Dr. VanZwieten earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. (2007) in Ocean Engineering from Florida Atlantic University. His background includes numerical simulation, autonomous vehicle development, and marine renewable energy. Dr. VanZwieten has lead research projects for Southeast National Marine Renewable Energy Center that have developed numerical modeling tools for predicting system performance, assessed marine renewable energy resources, and co-developed sensor packages for measuring the at sea performance of experimental and prototype systems.
